A truck driver was beaten within an inch of his life by California Highway Patrol for not signing a traffic ticket that he could not read. The driver, who broke no laws, was beaten so badly that he woke up in a trauma hospital.
Mr. Olegs Kozacenko, a russian immigrant who could not read the ticket, refused to sign it. Cops then dragged him out of his truck and nearly beat him to death. He suffered a crushed left orbital eye socket, multiple facial fractures, a broken left arm, broken ribs, a concussion, loss of consciousness, and possible neurological damage.
We hear about this happening somewhere everyday. Everyday police are using their power. They are not abusing it, they are using it. As I said before, power attracts bad people. A good person does not want to control another. The 2 cops involved remain on duty a full 2 years after the incident occured. Mr. Kozacenko suffers from long term damage.
